PART ONE
Two of S.N.A.F.U.'s shrines are included in a group show of dioramas
Curated by George Fifield & Phaedra Shanbaum of Boston Cyberarts
The title of the show is "INSIDE THE BOX"
The opening for this show is
Saturday January 12th, 2008
From 4-6pm.
The HOWARD YEZERSKI GALLERY is located at
14 Newbury Street
Boston, Massachusetts 02116
http://www.howardyezerskigallery.com/
yes. Newbury Street
If I can finish prepping them in time, there may be some boxed sets of limited edition Empire S.N.A.F.U. trading cards available for purchase, but though it is a commercial gallery, the shrines from the NIDUS-MONAD remain not for sale.
I'll probably be too chaotic to make much conversation during the opening,
But I probably plan to eat some sort of food, somewhere very cheap, following the show. (7ish?)
Please do come hang out with me then if you think you might like that sort of thing…
PART TWO
Exactly 24 hours later
On SUNDAY, January 13 2008
Opening from 4-6pm
S.N.A.F.U. items in another a group show.
The show is entitled "Fire" curated by Pauline Lim
And occurs at
The BRICKBOTTOM GALLERY
1 Fitchburg Street
Somerville, MA 02143
This show also includes work by ROSAMOND PURCELL, PAUL WEINER.
I've been a fan of both their works for ages
Below is a link for directions.
If you haven't been to the BRICKBOTTOM building before, YOU WILL need COMPREHENSIVE directions, (or radioactive trace elements and an oversized pineal gland)

Don't know what I'll do afterwards…
it is a sunday...
WARNING
Both these shows will be good,
and both shows feature a variety of artists whose work is very worth checking out.
but remember, these are both standard gallery type shows,
(NOT enactments of the NIDUS-MONAD.)
So there WON'T be naked people dangling from the ceiling playing with raw meat at either location.
That's just the way it is sometimes.
Sigh…
